Our 9th grade students just returned from an unforgettable two-day GEAR UP trip to Tennessee! Over the two days students toured the campus of the University of Tennessee, explored wildlife at the Knoxville Zoo, and wrapped up their trip with thrills and fun at Dollywood! This GEAR UP experience gave students a glimpse into college life by having lunch in the University's dining hall, they got a closer look at wildlife with a guided experience from zoo staff, and they had some well-deserved fun at the theme park.

In a combined effort of the JMTC Carpentry and Law and Public Safety Classes, an honor wall, of first responder patches, was developed and created as a class project.  "This Honor Wall was made possible by donations from Men and Women around the state, nation, world and the Sheriff of Monroe County, Sheriff Michael J. Heller."  We are extremely thankful for the donations and hard work each student and teacher has put in to make this wall possible.
