Students from Mr. Hill and Mr. Boone's Intro to Ag classes traveled to the Willowbend Agriculture Innovation Center to assist with preparing Ewes for lambing. Students were able to get hands-on experience with vaccinations, proper handling of syringes, needles, and vaccines, Famacha Scoring for parasite load sheep handling techniques, and hoof trimming. All of this was done to ensure a successful and healthy lambing season for the sheep flock at the farm. They were instructed by County Agent Brian Wickline, Farm Manager Ty Judy, and Ag teacher Shawn Hill.
